I was in a meeting one time and I had said something about “Indians”. This liberal sticks her nose up and said that was not acceptable language. I informed her that I was half-breed, another term she probably didn’t like to hear, but that is what we call ourselves and we also call ourselves “Indians” so what did she have to say about that, as she was apparently all white.?
She shut up.
I was doing some work with an Indian and said something about Indians. The white guy I was working with whispered after the Indian had left “Hey - it’s Native American.”
When the Indian guy came back I asked him if he preferred Indian or Native American. “Whatever, I don’t care. But we’re Indians.”
There has been another shooting near a Copenhagen synagogue. One man on the street was shot in the head and is dead. Two policemen were injured. The shooter escaped.
It is not know if this shooting/killing is related to the earlier shooting at the café. They don’t know if it is the same killer or a copy cat.
This whole PC crap comes from the white man. They think it will make up for taking all our land.

We actually usually refer to what tribe we come from instead of what race we are. That is something not understood about the Islamic countries to our downfall; tribalism.

Hi, Rusty. I am 1/16 or 1/32 Choctaw Indian. In the 1800s one of grand grandfathers (not sure how many grandfathers back), who was English, married a Choctaw Indian when the tribe was sent to Oklahoma during the Trail of Tears.
We go to the Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma, and I don’t get any special treatment at the casino. I PROTEST - my Indian brothers should give me special treatment at “our” casino. They take my money when I lose - now, is that any way to treat a relative? :o)
I read extensively about this Islamic Tribunal. This Islamic Tribunal is in Irving, TX, part of the Dallas metroplex. They will actually offer counseling to their Muslim group. That will include, but not limited to, counseling for couples who want to divorce. This could be deciding the dividing of property the couple owns and how the children will be raised, etc.. Nothing they do will have any effect on the legal aspects of getting a divorce. They will have to go to court to dissolve the marriage for the divorce to be legal.
One could compare this to a Baptist couple going to their minister for counseling when getting a divorce. The minister can't divorce them - that is a court matter.
In other words, the Islamic Tribunal can settle differences between the group for whatever, but that is separate from legal documents and court orders, decisions, etc..
They can practice all the Sharia law they want within their group (unless they hurt/kill someone), but when the court gets involved, it will be Texas law that prevails. We don't and will never have, Sharia law topping Texas law.
I asked him if he was from the local tribe (Walla Walla). He said that is what the white man calls it. But the Indians just have one name “The People”.
I said “Huh? You don’t go by the different tribe names?”
He said most do, but originaly there was one name “The People”. “Of course we still fought with them; we needed wives and slaves, but we didn’t call them by a different name. That’s a white man invention.”
