Houston Islamic Center Fire: Left-of-Center Media Jumping to Conclusions
Breitbart Texas ^ | 02/13/2015 | Bob Price

HOUSTON, Texas – Left-of-center media appears to quickly be jumping to conclusions about who may have started the fire at the Quba Islamic Institute. A member of the Islamic center told reporters that fire investigators told him an accelerant was found in the fire. Twitchy now leads with the following headline: CNN reports Islamic center fire intentional; ‘Tea party members are out here killing innocent people.’

The CNN report comes from CNN’s Erin Burnett who reported that the fire at the Islamic center in Houston is “a frightening and troubling incident, especially in light of the shooting in North Carolina this week” on Friday’s “OutFront.” Burnett cited a Houston Chronicle article and claimed the investigation concluded the fire was set intentionally. In actuality, no conclusion has been determined as to the cause of the fire. The very report Burnett cited states that Houston fire officials “had not yet confirmed the cause of the fire and had no further information to release.”

But even if the fire was intentionally set, there is still no evidence as to who set the fire or what the possible motivation for the fire might have been if it was intentionally set. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is already demanding a hate crime investigation. One might ask, “If it was a hate crime, why would a hater burn the storage building at the back of the complex instead of the mosque that is the symbol of what the person allegedly hates?”

with all the munitions and flammables stored in a typical ammo dump, I mean mollusk, and the awesome intelligence of the people occupying such places, fire would seem a very real and dangerous risk.

Did anyone actually die in this fire? Or was it simply the bomb factory storage building that burned?

“Breitbart Texas reported on Friday evening that the building was used to store books, renovation supplies and furniture. Isn’t it possible that “renovation supplies” might include flammable liquids that would act as an accelerant?”

“(CAIR) is already demanding a hate crime investigation.”

So the first thing they do is jump to the conclusion that
a muslim hater started the fire. The raggs know they are
guilty of so much death that they are expecting payback.
To spend their whole life with a guilty conscious has to
be hell for them. Good they deserve it.

Where is Obama and the media’s outrage when the Islamic State announces killing of 21 kidnapped Egyptian Christians?

The Islamic State has announced the killing of 21 Eyptian Christians who were abducted from Libya early in January.

A report issued on the internet by the Islamic State said that the Coptic Christians were killed in “revenge for the Muslim women persecuted by Coptic crusaders in Egypt.” The reference was evidently to an incident in which two Egyptian women married to Copts were allegedly pressured to repudiate Islam.

The Egyptian government has not confirmed the deaths of the 21 kidnapping victims, but fears that the internet report is accurate.

CAIR was all over the parking spot murders as well as other countries were. Obama will let them run over us if we let him, setting special rights for Muslims.

From a Houston TV station report:

http://www.khou.com/story/news/local/2015/02/13/fire-reported-at-islamic-school-in-southeast-houston/23342173/

HOUSTON - A fire burned a vacant building sitting on the Quba Islamic Institute
property early Friday in southeast Houston.

It was reported at 5:39 a.m. on FM 1959, not far from Ellington Airport

Air 11 was overhead as firefighters worked to knock out the fire. Heavy smoke
poured from the facility, and flames shot from the roof. It was declared
under control by 6:15 a.m., and there were no injuries reported.

“Honestly I was shocked and I didn’t expect that. Of course concerned also,”
said Zahid Abullah, the leader of the mosque.

The burned building had just been purchased and was going to be turned into
a community center, as well as a place for children to study Islam.

On top of that, the storage building is a very new structure. I know that part of town. Many small multi-tenant properties; virtually all commercial. I don't know the layout of this specific property, but it may not have even been clear that this new building was part of the Islamic Center.

I think I saw a statement of a member of the Islamic Center who speculated the storage building was targeted because it was the only wooden structure at the Islamic Center site.

Interesting passage from an article in The Guardian (UK):

Ahsan Zahid told Reuters that earlier in the week a man with his face covered was seen behaving suspiciously on the premises, and on Thursday someone drove by the centre and shouted mocking phrases in Arabic.

“We were leaving the premises, and a person driving a pickup truck was chanting in Arabic phrases, like terrorists do before they explode suicide bombs,” he said
