Dems Threaten To Block Action On Homeland-Immigration Bill DAVID ESPO

WASHINGTON — Senate Democrats threatened Thursday to block action on legislation funding the Homeland Security Department until Republicans jettison House-passed provisions that reverse President Barack Obama's key immigration policies.

(Snip) But Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., said Democrats are not willing to go along, and blasted Republicans in unusually strong terms.

"They seem to dislike the idea of supporting homeland security. They dislike dreamers more than they dislike ISIS," he said.

Every democrat is hell bent on turning the USA into what Venezuela is now.

Every democrat in the media and Congress wants the government to be able to tell every individual what they can have and how much of it. That's called socialism/marxism/collectivism. Of course no individual can own anything in their socialist utopia but can only have rations that the government decides. In Venezuela the people are now starving. this is what socialism always gives. Before socialism the people in Venezuela had a good life

The MINUTE democrats had the numbers in the Congress they ALL voted to pass Obamacare , the biggest peice of socialism in the last 21 years (since Republicans finally took the House in 1994) With Obamacare democrats tried to turn 1/6 of the economy over to the government .

Every democrat in Congress supports Obama’s tyrannical unconstitutional Amnesty for illegals. That shows us what we are up against , a marxist cult in which every democrat is an evil socialist villain.

Except that, if you are as I assume, a conservative then it is you who is the RINO; real Republicans are the likes of Boehner and McCain.

It's ok.
The Giant-Crapball that was November proved the RINO/Real-Republican split to me.
(And I'll admit, I do get a bit of perverse pleasure in pointing it out to people.)

I don't get it; why would any of them be even involved at this point? Pass the Republican House version, send it to Obama, let him veto it, then ‘start again’ ‘trying to get some meaningful legislation through the obstructionist congress.’

The only way it makes sense is if Obama realizes he's not running for president again. That he can sign the legislation, wave at his Democrat ‘partners’ and go ‘hey, I gave it a shot, which is more than any of you have done. Activists, go talk to the people who won't do anything...’

Anything else just seems stupid.

Well, I’m going to proudly wear my RINO label. (The Scarlet Horn!). And I’m going to borrow (steal) your rationale. Thank your for helping me see the light!

Apparently Chuckie likes both Dreamers and ISIS because both can waltz right across the border whenever they feel like it right now. Will the GOP have the mental dexterity to point this out, though? Probably not.

I don’t get the connection. Has Schumer refused to cooperate on ISIS until the Dreamer Act is passed?

They dislike dreamers more than they dislike ISIS," he said.

The Dreamers are the ones who were brought here as small children and have known no other life. No reason to dislike them. Their invader parents were (mostly) trying to improve their lot in life, no reason to really dislike them either, if they have behaved and not been a public assistance drain.*

ISIS murders, rapes and subjugates whole populations. Plenty of reason to dislike them.

*Your mileage may vary, donning flameproofs now.
