My local paper featured a column by David Lightman of McClatchy. It headlined GOP cant seem to overcome diversity problems He went on to point out minor flaps about how a few elected officials portrayed the truth.
It turns out the author of the study was Henry Barbour - a major part of the progressive cabal in the party. He, his Dad, Haley, Michael Bloomberg, Boling, the Lt. Governor of Virginia, with the help of Karl Rove are part of what is clearly an effort to rid the party of its Tea Party philosophy base. Thats another subject, but be assured, they are busy pouring money and misstatements into all the wrong places.
The GOPs diversity problem is because it has found itself trying to fit in to a politically correct, highly limited and divisive progressive definition of diversity. Did they dump Univision in spite of having a massive presence in Kevin McCarthys (and mine) District? Does McCarthy pays as much attention to the Hispanic base as he does me? (He he.)
True diversity is only slightly tied to race and ethnicity, save for a definable concentration of particular gifts and talents. I could list some of the obvious, but Id rather point out that our real diversity is based on our God-given individual gifts and talents. We are each expected by our Creator who gave us inalienable rights, to discover our gifts and talents, develop them and put them to work for our own salvation and the honor and glory of God. Anything less only yields selfish accumulation of power or abject slavery to the demands of the powerful. They have a white RINO Peter King acolyte who was involved in the Garner case or they could have ran Nicole Malliotakis who gave the rebuttal for the NY State senate GOP on tuition for illegals.
