If he’s a cat and has been eating dry food he could get corked up and it would cause gas. Maybe give him wet food with a little veggie oil like 1 tsp added to it.

thanks for the prayers, everyone, i appreciate it. he’s doing better now. grateful to God and your prayers to Him on Buster’s behalf. I’ve been checking on him once an hour, not to hover, and he’s been doing good eating and drinking and sitting/resting/moving normal.
