Energy is the master resource, the lifeblood of ours and the worlds economy
It is a sad day when a state chooses to listen to the fear, uncertainty, and doubts spread by anti-fossil fuel agitators rather than making a decision for economic strength that would benefit schools, communities, and many of its poorest citizensespecially when the vilified technology, hydraulic fracturing, has been used safely and successfully for more than 60 years and has brought prosperity to other formerly struggling regions.
Responding to the announcement by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo that the state would ban fracking, Ms. Noon joined others, bringing their expertise to bear on a topic that remains a concern only because environmentalist enemies of energy in America continue to lie about it every chance they get.

Stupid-Ass Liberals!
With oil at below $60 there will not be much more fracking in the US.
Every well drilled will be fraced and we’re still drilling like crazy in the Permian basin. Most of next years wells have already been planned from this years budgets. Plus the cost of drilling, fracing and everything else will be down due to lower gas prices. The oilfields use a ton of diesel gasoline and other petroleum products.
The average person often fails to understand that a country’s “% of world energy consumption” is pretty close to its % of world GDP (communists know it, though).
Want a higher GDP? Increase energy consumption.
Want higher energy consumption? Make it cheaper.
Yes, it really is that simple. Energy should be close to free. If it was, we’d be somewhere around 8-10% annual economic growth imho. Prices of everything would be lower. Salaries would be higher. Manufacturing would explode, here in the USA. Price of bread would be half what it is now.
No one ever accused the governor of NY of being overly bright!
Or anyone south of Poughkeepsie, NY...(where most Libs are located...)
