In essence, Mister President, you blew it.
Dear President Obama,
I do not know if you are astute enough to recognize it. But, when you were elected president in 2008, you were given an extraordinary opportunity that very few individuals throughout the course of human history had been given. As America’s first African-American president, you had the chance to be recognized as an exemplary leader of true vision, a statesman par excellence. Indeed, your name might have come to be associated with great historical leaders such as Lincoln (to whom you like to compare yourself), King, Churchill, Washington and others. Indeed, you could have been America’s “great uniter”.
Instead, you chose to divide us. You have bent, folded, spindled, and mutilated the United States. You have divided us along racial lines (as evidenced by the Cambridge Police and Trayvon Martin episodes) and sexual lines (the “war on women”). Instead of uniting us along economic lines, you sought to divide us by fostering unprecedented levels of class envy as illustrated by the “one-percenters” and Occupy Wall Street protests. By insisting that successful individuals have failed to pay their “fair share” in taxes, you demonized success and fostered resentment among the less successful and the downright lazy.

Obama only blew it if his goal was positive. If his goal was division and destruction, he’s the most successful occupant of our White House in history.
Obama didn’t “blow it.” He’s getting pretty much everything he wants. The country blew it and Republicans blew it and continue to blow it.
Obama is kind of Octavian to Bush’s Julius.
The next two years are going to be a sample of hell.

I’m afraid the next two years are going to describe the new normal. USA is way past the point of no return. To get a handle on it the Congress would have to eliminate most government agencies, repeal Civil Service, and fire a million government employees. Not gonna happen. And even if Congress tried the Administrators and the Courts would fight it with bogus rulings and the “Civilian Defense Force.”
Or Commodus to Bush’s Marcus Aurelius.
I don’t think so. I say Julius and Octavian because under Bush we shifted over to ta covert dictatorship with the Homeland Security and the trillion $ bailout but retained the Republican forms. Then we get Obama and government by decree = Octavian.
Sad. Obama seems dead set in starting a race war since his policies were rejected by the Voters. His boss Valerie is whacko too.

Obamacare is all Obama and the dems needed to accomplish. Amnesty will cement that abomination of a law.
The damage those two things have wrought on the nation will last generations. Obamatons and democrats don’t consider that failure.
Business as usual one party two names and faces.
