Thousands of pages of smoking gun documents remain in legal limbo
More proof has emerged that President Obama is using the IRS as a weapon against his perceived enemies as the administration abruptly canceled the release of 2,500 damning documents reportedly showing that the IRS illegally shared taxpayer files with the White House.
The existence of the documents is yet more proof that Obama maintains an extensive enemies list and that he treats the IRS as his personal plaything while he closely collaborates with senior IRS officials who have practically taken up residence with him in the White House. To Obama, the IRS is an instrument of political repression and taxpayer terror. Although it isnt exactly breaking news that Obama is doing Machiavellian things with the IRS that the nearly-impeached President Nixon only fantasized about doing, hard documentary evidence of wrongdoing has been slow in coming.

The illegal use of IRS information has become my number one reason to want to permanently change the tax code. Paying taxes is unfortunately needed to sustain our nation, so with that need, we need to find a way that personal information is never used by the government. If you have researched flat income taxes and consumption taxes you probably understand the simplification of the tax code that comes with those options. The IRS and Obama, just made my mind up. I want a flat consumption tax that is only paid by consumers. It should be collected by the states from businesses, not the federal government. Businesses won’t need to know who you are. State government won’t need to know who you are, and lastly the federal government won’t need to know who you are. Personal transactions are exempt. In the process, all federal business income taxes need to be eliminated. It would make America the number one place in the world to do business.
Most state governments already collect sales tax, so the infrastructure already exists. Btw, I am not in favor of the Fair Tax, which gives a yearly payment to everyone to subsidize those who are low income earners. That is simply another welfare program. If you don’t make much money, you don’t spend much money, and you certainly don’t pay much in taxes. The inverse is true for those that make a lot of money. A consumption tax is neither progressive or regressive. It simply a flat tax at the same rate for everyone.
