If the endtimes arrive in my lifetime, it will probably look like this.
Florida State today did the unthinkable, the impossible, the, oh the ah, they won.
And not just any game. The Florida school actually defeated a team from the SEC football conference. Of course, we all know that the SEC is the greatest football conference in the history of mankind. I know that from the press release issued by the SEC in concurrence with the creator of football, Al Gore.
I believe that the authorities in Tuscaloosa are reviewing the legal statutes as I type this. Apparently it is illegal by Alabama state law for an SEC team to lose to a non-SEC team. This could be another black mark against Jameis Winston and his attempt to lead the Seminoles to another possible national championship.
So many wonders today and so little keyboard space to express it. If Alabama loses tonight to Auburn, there will not be an SEC team with less than two losses. Would this result in no teams from the legendary conference being invited to play for the national championship? That would be unthinkable and possibly racist, I think.
With the endtimes upon us, I need to check on the provisions in my underground bunker. If I never rise to the surface again, I will die content in the knowledge that I have seen everything in my somewhat brief lifetime.
That will be a big slice of HUMBLE PIE for the SEC then won’t it? /s
The End is nearer.
And things looked so bright for America’s Own Special Conference just a few short weeks ago... my, how far they have fallen.
They won by five points against a Florida team that came into the game with 4 losses. I think there are a half-dozen SEC teams that would beat FSU in a playoff game.
Agree.
Yeah...well...All of those teams participating in the playoffs, take one step forward...SEC, not so fast there...
Auburn seems intent on beating themselves this year. Argh.
Come on guys!
War Eagle!
At age 80 it is for me... Dammit!
Will Muschamp's playcalling on the Gator's final drive was highly suspect. Florida had plenty of time and the timeout yet they were slinging the ball around like there was 15 seconds left on the clock. If he was indeed responsible for calling the plays, no wonder he was let go. I think mixing in a few runs would have put the Gators in a position to pull the upset.
I’m just glad he’s gone.
Worst coach, ever.
Go Wisconsin, Go Georgia Tech, I want Baylor and TCU in the Final Four.
Wisconsin should beat the Buckeyes next week, now that Barrett is out. And glory hallelujah that Tech beat the Bulldogs!
Rich Kotite says hi.
Nope, even worse.
You keep that attitude up and you’ll live to 100! :)
I am sure that more than a few tears are being shed this evening in Seminole land with the knowledge that Mr. Muschamp will no longer be at Florida...
Who do you think will be the next Gator HC?
Brady Hoke or possibly Charlie Weiss?
If Brady Hoke can’t cut it in the Big Ten, do you think he’ll stand a chance in the SEC?
