You are extremely mistaken.
I would study the Bible and believe it—all of it.
So John Knox was mistaken, and the Mayflower Pilgrims had it all wrong ?
The “dispensational” views are relatively new, created by charlatans.
If you watch the false teachers on TV, that’s exactly what they preach.
And those false teachers are making merchandise of their followers, that is, profiting from them.
Ergo, the mega-church, the pastors with gold watches, etc. Dispensationalism is what they preach, and it is false.
I hope that you can find the time this Thanksgiving to study the doctrine the Mayflower Pilgrims brought with them to America, when they tried to escape the liberalism of their day in Holland.
2 Peter 2
“1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”
Your accusations are way off base, fellow...just to let you know, I don’t watch tv, any tv, well, sometimes maybe the local news, but I do love studying God’s Word.
Daniel, for instance...
I love the ending words of the archangel Michael to Daniel in Ch. 12, after he has told him there was coming a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation—
10 Many will be purged, purified and refined; but the wicked will act wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.
11 And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished, and the abomination of desolation is set up, will be 1,290 days. (Wow, that’s 3 1/2 years!)
12 How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days! (Only 45 more days; must be the last 3 1/2 years of Daniel’s 70th Week, commonly referred to as “the great tribulation. Jesus mentions it in Matthew 24:21 as He describes the same event at the time of the end.)
13 But as for you, go your way to the end (i.e., the end of your life); then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age (Lit., days).
In Matthew 24:15-16, Jesus said: “Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;...”
Good idea to read all of Matthew 24 so you can see the parallel and understand that is the Lord’s prophet and the Lord Jesus Christ speaking about the events leading up to the time of His Second Coming, and not just words of men, or false teachers, or charlatans!
All nasty accusation aside, this message from Michael still shines today: “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” (12:4)
I am so thankful that God has given His children, those who are in Christ Jesus, more and more understanding of His Word as they seek Him and believe His words in the Scriptures, which is Truth to live by.
