You'd think after all that she has personally, hedonistically indulged in over these past six years, in many cases illegally, by grace of the US in the untold millions of dollars, not to mention the special status she enjoyed as marital partner, she would show some degree of magnanimity, common decency (notice I don't use the word 'class') taking a more respectful, dignified posture for the country that hauls her big, black rear end anywhere she has a whim to go, on many occasions alone to the same destination as her husband during their marital spats, allows her to stuff her face with untold thousands of calories of the most expensive epicurean delights, has her living a life of style, dignity and grace that is beyond imagination.
Now that I've calmed down, I realize it would be too much to expect any demonstration of humility, gratitude from this fraudulent trash couple,whose trade in social niceties and proper mores are as alien to them as telling the truth is.
Looking at the photo with my bad eyesight, it appears that Obie has his hand more toward the middle of his chest, not right on his heart.

The placement of the hand in a citizen's salute is much as a Roman Legionnaire would have done, by crossing one's chest with the forearm and placing the hand unclenched (no weapon in it) a hand'sbreadth above one's left nipple (where the heart is not.)
Until about 1943, the customary salute (click here) in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was the arm, hand, and fingers held straight out, with the palm down, fingertips pointing toward the flag, clicking one's heels together.
That is the salute which I learned in the first grade. It was changed through abhorrence of appearing like the Nazi Germans, who copied this salute from us as their national civilian and military loyalty salute toward their Fuhrer and his Hakenkreuz Flag.
Michelle's posture at the moment pictured is inappropriate for her position as consort of the United States' President, although she is merely excercising one's acknowledged right of personal freedom and religion to withhold herself from that exercise of loyalty to the land of her birth and its system of government.
Her reluctance to do so is a flat-out snub of good public manners (at least) and is inexcusable and boorish, IMHO. Unfortunately, she is not an employee of the government (as is her husband), in which case she might be discharged from service with prejudice. She is just an ungrateful free-loading party-crasher with platinum food stamps.

No actually because she means abosolutely nothing to me. As a Veteran I do not want anyone thanking me, saluting me etc. because it is the required thing, the political thing to do.
If you don’t mean it (and she would not) then don’t do it......

Obama wasn’t in town on Veteran’s Day. He was on the way to Asia. So when was this picture supposed to be taken?
I guess I'm a bit numb about these two classless grifters. Nothing in their behavior surprises me anymore. I just hope I'm alive long enough to see them in prison jumpsuits.
