Makes me wonder about Barack Hussein Obama's "peaceful actions."
Two hundred twenty one Republicans and 31 Democrats in the U. S. House voted on Friday, November 14, 2014, to approve the overly debated Keystone oil pipeline to be constructed from our Canadian friends to the north to the eagerly awaiting refineries in the southwestern area of the United States.
It was sent to the Senate where a struggle between conservative Republicans and Obama, with his group of anti-jobs and country conscientious objectors, will take every effort to imitate Obamas Rev. Wrights country condemnation of God Damn America to kill the much desired legislation.

The big question is whether or not the votes are there for a Veto override.
Gallup poll
Question: When was the last time a Presidential Veto was overridden?
My bet is that Keystone will end up on Obama’s desk and he will veto it for some BS we need to study it more reasons. I doubt there will be enough Democrat votes in the Senate for an override. This was just a ploy to help sweet cheeks in Louisiana in her faultering reelection campaign
King Zero will veto the Keystone and slam illegals down our throats too. His merry mohammadmas gifts to America.
No guts no glory GOP-e unless its a big fight that ensues.
Miss Mary Piggy’s pipe dream won’t save her from the ‘key’ nightmare she supported in the disasters of this illegal pResident. She can recycle her own bacon grease as a going away consolation prize.
It appears that one of Obozo’s biggest backers and donors, Warren Buffet has been blocking the Keystone pipeline due to his ownership of a key railroad carrying oil from Canada to the USA.
The link below takes you to several articles discussing this.
Again, Cui Bono and follow the money applies to everything Herr Obozo is for or against:
To override a Veto, do they need 60 votes, or 66 in the Senate?
Doesn’t it also require 2/3 in the House? I believe they’d have enough in the House. It’s astounding that our country has to go through such bullshit just to install a dammed oil pipeline. It’s a win-win. Lots of jobs created, good for the economy.
We have to be one of the most stupid societies in the history of the world. We could find an infinite natural resource within our borders that would help us all, and nearly half of us will try like hell to find way to NOT use it!!!!! WTH!?!??
OblahMao will veto XL after the Dec 6th vote so he could ‘punish’ Louisiana for voting for Cassidy. Of course he would still veto it even if Miss Piggy wins regardless but it will be after Dec 6th.
It will not energize anything as far as jobs go. 40-50,000 jobs is peanuts as far as the overall jobs picture.
2/3 in both houses.
252 votes the first time around - they’d need 290 if everyone votes which would be about 20 crossovers or 35 abstentions.
I didn’t see what the Senate vote was.

Bush 43 had 4 vetoes overridden.
Well, this Congress isn’t over but Obama’s (2) on track to have the fewest vetoes since Garfield/Arthur (0/4). Although I would anticipate a veto here.
