Maybe the defense will say the 16 year old wasn't enrolled in UCSB therefore isn't covered by those old fashioned rules. Even if she was inside a "free speech zone". Free speech zone? My idea of the "free speech zone" extends from the Atlantic ocean to the Pacific ocean and from the Canadian border to the Meh-eek-anne border and everywhere in between. The jury should take the "professor" and USCB to the financial cleaners. In addition the assailant should be added to the national list of child abusers and a restraining order applied to prevent her from approaching any child who might be pro-life.

The pregnant 38-year-old who pleaded no contest to misdemeanor counts of theft, vandalism and battery after stealing and destroying an anti-abortion poster and injuring a a 16-year-old activist, says she’s sorry for some of her actions and hopes to “makes amends through community service.”
