"...And with the election results, we'll have over 60 who clearly support the legislation," he said.

60 in the Senate. If they can get 7 Dems that's a veto-proof majority. If not, and 0bama vetoes it, it's to the mat. If it happens I'll be sure to commemorate the occasion with that Pelosi-with-the-gavel smirking triumphalism picture when 0bamacare was jammed down our throats. Kind of remind our proggy friends where that whole thing came from.

Yeah... and then back to raising spending and the debt ceiling.

XL isn’t enough, I want a future for this country. And I won’t get it while this media demands the government subsidize consumer spending.

Isn’t the exempt Mary ‘Big Oil’ Landrieu all for the pipeline? Uh, oh.

I'm waiting for the whole "shut down the government thing". The House should pass a budget. The Senate should pass the budget. The budget should be placed on Obama's desk.

I can see the media now: "It looks like the government will shut down tomorrow because of Republican extremists. Why are you throwing the country off a cliff?"
Talk Show Guest: "Look you moron: he signs it, we go on. He doesn't sign it, we shut down. It's 100% on him. One man. His responsibility. Get it?"

So if the Republican Congress goes the miles, ultimately over rides Obama’s veto, and delegates the funding to initiate the project it will be through the Department of Energy Obama controls will it not?

The community organizer is about to meet real managers for the first time.

The media had better get with the program quickly. The questions they asked today were fair. Let’s see if they can wipe their lips and act like journalists instead of White House propagandists.

It could be attached to a bill funding Presidential travel or entertainment. If congress wants to play hard ball, there are many budget items that could be isolated.
