Id consider McSally if she loses a RINO for her squish immigration stance, undercutting Jesse Kelly in 2011, and for trying to throw Chuck Wooten out of the primary.

Ed Gillespie was endorsed by the NRA and National Right to Life along with some other conservative organizations. People thought he was a RINO in the beginning but he isn’t. He also campaigned in conservative churches like mine.

Can’t think of any right now. Still celebrating the liberals getting slaughtered across the country.

Hopefully, if he wins after the recount, he will change his position on that issue.

Neel Kashkari, but I don’t think CA counts. You could run Ronald Reagan here today and he would lose.

I regrettably have to include Duke Aiona in Hawaii. He distanced himself from the Republican Party, he doesn't support concealed/carry, he made terribly weak, conciliatory statements on abortion and homosexual marriage, didn't run against Obama issues and encroaching federal movement on our liberties or Benghazi or really anything nationally.
A really decent guy who proves once again that niceness and civility are insufficient, even in the face of this union-stronghold state that is bluer than blue. A true Tea Party Constitutional Christian approach has never been tried, and I still believe it could work, as more stay home than vote: they are apathetic because no one voices their concerns.

Fat chance of that. The Dims in Virginia are masters at manufacturing votes for a recount. Gillespie’s team should demand an investigation into all those voting machines in the Norfolk area that would not accept votes for Republican candidates.

Republicans in liberal states tend to be more liberal and Republicans in those same liberal states tend to lose. Nothing new in that. There are more Democrats and it's hard to overcome the numbers and engrained attitudes.
Some Republicans in liberal states did win this time. Others came surprisingly close to winning their races. Nothing surprising in that either -- a big national tide lifts everybody's boat.
But if you try to run in Connecticut the way you do in Oklahoma you lose. That's also not news to anybody. There just aren't enough conservatives in those states to run a hard right campaign.
Get over cheap and stupid Schadenfreude and concentrate on the tasks at hand.

If only wish McConnell would have lost, that would have nubbed the horns on the other Rino’s, now we still have to fight on two fronts.
