Communications Minister Gilad Erdan said on Wednesday, “It is ridiculous and even sad that officials in the Obama administration defame and curse the prime minister with expressions that they never use for mass murderers like Assad. Such statements play into the hands of radical Islam, which draws strength from them.

“I expect the American government to finally realize that Netanyahu was elected time and time again, not by chance, because his views represent a large majority of the Israeli public, which understands the threats in the Middle East and is concerned about Israel’s survival.
