Everyone knows how former Mayor Michael Bloomberg supports a push towards confiscation of Americans guns. Hes literally thrown millions of dollars behind various campaigns, started organizations and even gotten politicians onboard with going after guns across America. Now, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinda have given $1 million to start the ball rolling on gun confiscation in Washington State.
CNN reports:
Previously, Microsoft (MSFT, Tech30) co-founder Paul Allen gave $500,000 to the group, while recently retired Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer gave $250,000 and his wife Connie contributed $330,000.
Its not just Microsoft billionaires throwing big bucks at the gun control campaign. Tech venture capitalist Nick Hanauer contributed an additional $1 million, according to the filing, on top of his earlier contributions of $335,000.

Let Bill Gates personally knock on my door to get them.
What can we do better to get out a pro-gun message? Criminals will have guns. How can we more clearly communicate the fact that a woman without a firearm normally has little chance against even one male thug with or without a firearm (even less because the thug can choose his target and the timing of the attack))? The leftist war on guns is also a war on women.
We have a God-given legal right to keep and bear arms that, if the Constitution were followed, would never be infringed. What we need just as much as the constitutional protection is majority public support for this right, so that those who hate freedom cannot chip away at our freedom.
He’ll send his security team.

This pretty much guarantees that MS operating systems have all sorts of backdoors for the feds.

Done. Completed the transition about a year ago. All family smart phones, tablets, laptops, and desk top.
I think you got it....he and the rest of his billionaire buddies like Buffet and Bloomberg plus our senior politicians know the end is near and they are raising the draw bridges.
I also agree that a war on guns is a war on women, because being a female makes us most vulnerable. A dog can be shot, and it is imperative we (women) learn how to use a gun and protect it while in our possession.
A thug can take out weapon if we are not careful, and learn how to use one correctly. A woman with a gun will use it too, due to the male perpetrator having an advantage.
Hearing a dog’s bark is enough to scare the troublemakers away.
If that operation works as well as his operating systems, we have nothing to fear.
Perhaps people should be coming for Bill Gates first.
I’ll sell Bill Gates two of my guns for $1 million dollars each.
No gun when a robber breaks in?
You would really get a blue screen of death!
He just wants your guns so he can take your beaches.
Dear Billy Boy,
You and yours aren’t going to get them through politicians.
I hope the sarcasm tag at the end of your post wasn't meant to apply to that statement. I think you are spot on - this is a very large part of their motivation to disarm the public.
This is great, may I propose we start with a law that makes it a FELONY, Punishable by a Mandatory 25 years to Life for ANY person who has been granted a special right or privilege to carry a Firearm, that uses said right or privilege in defense of others for profit or gain.
