My family and I are heading to Stevens Point on the ninth, and will be there until the 13th.
(Yes, I've checked all of the gun laws between Denver and there)
I just wanted to ask if there was anything worth checking out in that area.
I already found the gun shop (Heavy Metal Firearms), and was wondering if there was anything else.
I really want to head over to Milwaukee to thank Sheriff Clarke and shake his hand, but don't think I'll have the time.

In that case, check out the Dairy State Cheese Company in Rudolph. It’s about a 20 minute drive. They make all their dairy products on site, and there’s an area where you can go upstairs and look down on the factory floor as the cheese curds are made. They have ice cream for the kids, too.
They’re 11 and 13, and into computers and videogames. My youngest is more into MST3K than his Brother.
I’m going to spend the rest of the day today making sure all of our electronics are updated and ready. I’ve got four more Dinesh D’Souza audiobooks on my phone to listen to during the drive.

In that case, take them to Tech Lounge in downtown Stevens Point. It’s a coffee house that has a thundering crapton (yes, it’s an actual measurement) of video games, both new and retro. They sometimes even have gaming tourneys, depending on the weekend. It’s really a cool little hangout!

When we moved from FL to NV we avoided IL like the plague. If we had gone through IL and been stopped, I’d still be waiting to get out. :>}

Yeah, New Glarus are libs - my favorite Oktoberfest is Leinie’s - but I always stock up on all brands - Paulaner, Sprecher, New Glarus, anybody and everbody. I always think my stash will last. Never does. Ein Prosit!
