Should We Just Follow Orders? Rules of Engagement for Resisting the Police State
Canada Free Press ^ | 10/07/14 | John W. Whitehead

Outright tyranny, the loss of our freedoms, and a totalitarian regime the likes of which the world has never seen before.

“Let your motto be resistance! resistance! Resistance! No oppressed people have ever secured their liberty without resistance.”—Abolitionist Henry Highland Garnet

The perils of resisting the police state grow more costly with each passing day, especially if you hope to escape with your life and property intact. The thing you must remember is that we’ve entered an age of militarized police in which we’re no longer viewed as civilians but as enemy combatants.

Take, for example, Mary Elizabeth VandenBerg who was charged with disturbing the peace, a crime punishable by up to 93 days in jail and a $500 fine, for daring to vocalize her frustrations over a traffic ticket by reading a prepared statement to the court clerk and paying her $145 traffic ticket with 145 one-dollar bills. VandenBerg was also handcuffed, tasered and pepper sprayed for “passively” resisting police by repeatedly stopping and talking to them and stiffening her arms. The incident, filmed by VandenBerg’s brother, is now the subject of a lawsuit.

Certain parts of the Police State are really recalling the essence of the Praetorian Guard, which was uninhibited in overtly exerting it’s own power and authority...

Resist as you can find the means, peacably.
I do not condone ‘martyrs’ resisting the police state.
I believe that ‘the grey man’ (no, not that insane Nipponese style comic book) philosophy will work, and work well.

That, dear reader, is your reading assignment, to find, and study that philosophy.

PLEASE DO NOT BE A GOOGLE DUNDERHEAD AND POST ANY LINKS REGARDING THIS PHILOSOPHY.

Why?

Let those that think that they have ‘a need to know’, a ‘right to know under the guise of this thread’, get the headache attempting to find it!

Resisting “peaceably” has failed.

Now the clock is ticking.

Americans are taught to trust the police.

However, the police are TRAINED to never trust you.

Conviction of Tasered ticket protester overturned on free-speech grounds

Mary Elizabeth VandenBerg

The convictions have been reversed.

A state Court of Appeals panel on Friday, Oct. 3, ordered a new trial, finding that the phrase “excite … any contention” is overbroad and unconstitutionally vague. The conviction for resisting police was also reversed because the lawfulness of the first arrest is an element of the resisting charge.

dear quis,

As you said ... “Resisting “peaceably” has failed.

Now the clock is ticking.”

Still, the ‘grey man philosophy’ does apply.

I wonder how this ties in with the Benghazi hearings? Or maybe it’s the IRS or VA scandals it has something to do with.
