It looks like when it comes to the Ebola virus some people aren't taking any risks. Rapper Akon, who performed during the International Day of Peace festival in the city of Goma in The Democratic Repbulic of Congo, took extreme precautions to avoid catching the deadly disease. The "Smack That," singer took a note from the made-for-TV movie, The Boy In the Plastic Bubble, and secured himself in a giant rubber ball so that he didn't catch the sickness from the festivalgoers.
After a diagnosis of a Dallas man earlier this week, the world has broken into a Ebola frenzy, with people taken serious steps to avoid contracting the illness.
Yahoo has just posted pictures of the hip-hop singer crowd surfing over the 60,000 attendees of the event in his plastic bubble....

Guess The Flaming Lips are scared of Ebola too.
Does anybody actually do any research? Using a bubble to surf the crowd has been going on for a long time.

There’s no controversy — this guy does it in concerts other continents, and other artists do it. It has nothing to do with Ebola.
