'No feasible way to provide for the safety of Israeli doctors and medical crews'
The U.S. may be willing to send its finest, the soldiers in its military, to Liberia to fight Ebola, but not Israel.
According to a report on Twitchy, Americas best ally in the Middle East for generations has refused to go along with a request from Samantha Power, Americas U.N. ambassador.
The reports have pointedly noted that the U.S. cut off flights to Israel over the recent military activity on the part of Hamas, but has continued to provide flight connections to the Ebola-stricken West Africa.
Theres a little buzz today on this story reporting that Israel has turned down a request from Samantha Power and the United States to provide medical assistance and personnel to Ebola-stricken countries in Africa, the report said.
Does Samantha Power not see the double standard here? To summarize: the United States canceled flights to Israel earlier this summer because of one errant rocket from Gaza that hit near Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, but now wants Israel to send help to hot-zones in Africa?(continued)

“What...are you nuts?”
Not surprising, Israel is busy with the Muslim terrorists Obama has funded and armed.
Good for Israel. They are treated like dirt so why should they help,
Obama: "Let's see if we can get some Jews to go! TEE-HEE-HEE-HEE-HEeEEEEEEE..."
Advisor 1 (whispering): "Is that really his laugh?!?"
Adivsor 2:" "Shhh!"
Among other promises of global assistance:
— The African Union has said it will deploy 100 health workers to assist the West African countries affected by Ebola. The first batch of an AU Ebola taskforce, totaling 30 people, left for Liberia on Sept. 18. Taskforce members are expected to arrive in Sierra Leone on Oct. 5 and in Guinea by the end of October.
— Britain and France have both pledged to build field hospitals in Sierra Leone and Guinea.
— China is sending a 59-person lab team to Sierra Leone.
— Cuba will send 461 health workers, who will be trained in biosecurity, and some will go to Liberia and Guinea.
Misleading story.
Israel does not take part in humanitarian endeavors at the behest of the US government. Israel has its own connections to Africa, and I’ll wager there are already Israelis doing medical work there, perhaps without the official sanction of the Israeli government.
Jews ain’t stoopit.
China has their first bio 4 laboratory coming on line in December.
You mean their breeder facility, right?
But didn’t Obama just say that Israel would become a pariah among the nations of the world, including the US, if they built houses in East Jerusalem? Isn’t the EU threatening to boycott them?
Why is a “pariah” nation being asked for assistance?
this is a huge huge mistake to send our combat troops into Liberia to try and help deal with Ebola .
Nuclear/Chem/Bio warfare trained Units perhaps , but Infantry soldiers ? No !
THEY SHOULD JUST SAY NO - To refuse illegal orders - bring the issue to military tribunals .
It is time for our folks in uniform to start challenging their totally inept and clueless C&C . Stop following his every unworthy order .He does not deserve their oaths or allegiance
Cheers for Israel saying what nobody else will. They have guts our own “conservative” representatives do not have.
Well we know how well the generals stood up for the Constitution with Col. Lakin.
All of the highest generals and admirals **know** that Obama posted a forged birth certificate. Evidently, their pensions and perks are more important to them than the welfare of the brave and honorable men and women serving under them . And....Their oath to defend the Constitutions was merely empty words.
Personally, in the unlikely event I should ever meet one of these perfumed princes with the fake brass and colorful ribbons decorating their uniforms, I will turn my back. Shame on them!
Prayers for the 1,300 troops the US is throwing into harm’s way for no good reason. Their families have to be very concerned.
The U.S. may be willing to send its finest, the soldiers... Israel... has refused to go along with a request from Samantha Power, Americas U.N. ambassador... "Does Samantha Power not see the double standard here? To summarize: the United States canceled flights to Israel earlier this summer because of one errant rocket from Gaza that hit near Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, but now wants Israel to send help to hot-zones in Africa?"
We aren’t sending in 3,000 infantry soldiers to stand around in Liberia pointing guns.
3000 plus US troops throwed into harms way in a situation worse than war with an unseen enemy. Who wants to volunteer for hazardous duty? Who has a vested interest. Family, friends, duty to roots? Let them go starting with obaaaaama.
Israel’s also not brain-dead stupid like we are...
