Anybody got any thoughts on hiding places for stuff that “authorities” might want to confiscate when SHTF?

No I actually think it would be a shoot to kill situation.
Don’t hide your stuff. Just keep your cake hole shut about it. If someone tries to take it by force then you need to worry about hiding something, their corpses namely.
