What pathological underpinnings could possibly motivate anyone to say that about anybody? How does Matthews live with himself saying such things that are so unbelievably unbelievable? Blaming inexplicable behavior on being liberal, left wing can only take you so far in rationalizing someone's insane rantings. As means of endearing himself to Obama, even Obama himself would probably distance himself from the likes of Matthews to say that as an imperfect being that he is, that we all are, he has made mistakes as we all do.

The Founding Fathers went to great lengths to give us LIMITED GOVERNMENT. The entire Constitution is intended to place limits on what the federal government can do.

People who believe in limited government do not worship politicians and swear to mindlessly follow all their commands and assume that they are always correct.

Only Big Government dweebs who believe in dictatorships see politicians as all-powerful, godlike saviors.

My guess is that you are a Libertarian and a atheist, otherwise you would know and understand that the Progressives believe in the Supremacy of the State. That is why they hate Christians and Jews, who believe in a higher power than the State.

Progressives believe that all power and rights emanate from the State and therefore that the Constitution has very little meaning or power.

I was having this discussion with another Libertarian the other day, I told him that he doesn’t have to believe, but he should thank Christians and practicing Jews because they are all that stand between the Statists and the Constitution.

The Libertarians are the ones who have been focusing on big government vs limited government. The reduction in the size of government is the Libertarian excuse for their isolationism.
