The Left has the music industry, the movie industry, the video game industry, the TV industry, the professional sports industry, the advertising industry, etc.
Which do you think has more influence over the young voters who will be running this nation for the next 50 years? Kids don't listen to talk radio, they listen to rap and death metal while watching Jon Stewart and playing Halo, wearing their Lebron James jerseys, eating Honey Made graham crackers (supports homosexual marriage) they bought at Target (also supports homo marriage).
To think, most conservatives still don't see the need to create conservative pop culture.

The right has many intelligent Americans who love America and work for a living. The left has few who care about America and love government handouts rather than work.
ANyone else would have resigned in shame, left public office and taken up as a private attorney.
BUT not dems, who cannot imagine working in the private sector and dream of working on the public dime, spedning taxpayers dollars and retiring at 55 with HUGE defined benefits plans.
