The heart-rending drama involving Christians being played out across much of the Islamic world has exposed something deeply disturbing about the human race. Something in the lumber room is moving and is scratching at the door.
The nations should at present be absorbed with two or three matters, one of these is certainly the plight of Christians fleeing the gory sword of Islam, and of the other two candidates, the Israel/Hamas war doesn’t come even close to them, or shouldn’t do so.
In Mosul, Iraq, one of the world’s most ancient Christian communities, some 60,000 souls, has disappeared overnight, those that didn’t flee – more than 1,000 families – had the doors of their homes identified with an “N” for “Nazarene”, marked for slaughter. Courtesy of the new Muslim “Caliphate”.
Homs, Syria, had a population of 80,000 Christians, then the jihadis came. An escaped teenage Syrian girl said: “We left because they were trying to kill us… “
Yes, but you must wait because Jews are refusing to bare their children’s necks to the blade of Islam.
200,000 in Mali have fled from looting, destruction and torture. In Egypt, 100,000, and so on.
Where have the poor souls fled to? Where are they sleeping...
