Yup. Few are observing there are two distinct events here: the killing and its alleged coverup (I dunno what actually happened), and the non-sequitur arson/looting/vandalism/rioting. The latter has no practical connection with the former, and must be addressed as a separate crime. Wanna protest the former issue? fine, hold demonstrations and ask questions and pursue legal channels. This trying to justify the latter by conflating it with the former and likening it to Gaza’s occupation is pure BS; they’re just trying to excuse their evil behavior and escape due punishment. Pull that burning/looting/etc crap in many neighborhoods, and the cops wouldn’t be able to “occupy” because the locals would be imposing order with extreme prejudice.
