The open primary is a totally flawed system. Only party members should be allowed to vote in a party’s primary. And this is why.

If I understand the rules correctly, he’s not allowed to do that because the filing deadline is past. McDaniel can only run as a write in candidate.
I would suggest a different strategy; if you’re in MS, definitely don’t vote for Thad in the fall. But I think conservatives would be better off focusing our energies on Kentucky. The last poll I saw there had Mitch trailing by 4 points. Mitch is the one most responsible for the National GOP getting involved in the MS race. And he is the most corrupt member of the GOPe. I think it would be fitting if the GOP missed taking the Senate majority because they nominated an “unelectable” candidate in Kentucky. Conservatives in that state can easily make this happen. All it would take is for just a sizable minority of Bevin voters sitting it out.
The real mission of conservatives should be to take over BOTH parties....NOT enable the communists.
