I agree. States need to dump the open primaries. It is making a mess of picking the two most viable candidates to represent the two parties.
Write in Chris McDaneil. We need to take a stand. I truly hope he runs a write in campaign, if for anything just to teach the establishment a lesson.
I'm willing to destroy the liberal GOP and try out that theory.

In 2008 Obama and Hillary were neck in neck in the primaries but after Super Tues it was clear that whites much preferred Hillary. When she won TX, OH, and then PA, panic set in. By May BO had to win either the IN or NC primary or the super delegates would begin to abandon him. He lost IN, but won NC because enough Republicans didn’t strategically vote for Hillary in the NC primary. I lived in NC and was tempted, but chose not to. I regret that now.
Then everyone would register as Independents to keep their options open and then you have an open primary again.
I think letting each party decide which registered voters they will accept would be better. Like the Republicans accepting both Republican and Independents but not Democrats.

As the Thad Cochran campaign rallied democrats to vote for him indicates that open primaries are the politicians legal way to commit vote fraud
Both candidates for this senate seat:
Support Obamacare
Support Amnesty
Will vote for ‘reasonable’ gun control (Mike Bloomberg doesn’t waste 250K like that without ‘expectations’)
Have voted to fund Planned Barrenhood
Support Big Federal Education (Commie Core)
etc.
Clearly MSGOP supports all those things. I’m not seeing a difference between MSGOP and MSDEM. Help me out here...

Even MORE important than this Primary? And no I do NOT care who the Dims are running, is can we ensure Thad’s defeat in November. If we do not, then the GOPe will know with assurity that they can do what we want to us because we ALWAYS fall in line.
In short, are we going to bend over and beg for another from the GOPe?

No they aren’t. We Conservatives are in the minority and ALWAYS will be if we STILL vote for ANY GOPe after this. They are counting on us to say just what you said and do what you are suggesting. We are like the abused wife that keeps going back, too afraid to leave.
What might you suggest. Since the GOP-e was behind the sleazy behavior and they won the election, what motivation do they have to extract anything? They will not contest the results. I'm not being provocative. I just don't see what can be done.
This would be interesting. It worked for Mulcowski (or however you spell it) in Alaska.
If nothing else it would "out" the GOP-e as to where they stand politically. Fun to watch.
