MISSION, TEXAS (KRLD) – A day after Texas state leaders approved a border security surge, news comes out of Mission, Texas that close to 300 women and children have been caught trying to cross illegally into the U.S.
“I talked to a Border Patrol agent yesterday and he told me that in one group — not several groups — but in one group, 280 mothers and children were caught; they turned themselves in,” says Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-Laredo). “That shows you the magnitude of what’s happening down there.”
He says the word is out that sanctuary can be found in the U.S. if you cross the Mexican border.
“The message is out. This is not just happening by accident. Criminal organizations know that if you’re a woman or a child, you are going to stay in the U.S. You’re given a piece of paper called a notice to appear [before ICE] and told you can travel anywhere in the United States,” says Cuellar. “But after they travel for such a long time they’re not going to turn themselves in later on, so they became part of the 11 or 12 million illegal immigrants here.”

Cuellar says the U.S. has a “Cuban policy defacto.”
“Because that’s what we do with the Cubans, and that’s what’s happening right now.”
George Grayson, a Professor Emeritus in Latin American Studies at the College of William and Mary, says the amount of illegal immigrants crossing the border now could seem like a drop in the bucket down the line.
“They will seek to have their families join them in the country… more migrants will be encouraged to reach the southwest border,” says Grayson. “Citizens from around the world are watching, and how many hundreds of thousands of desperate people do you think would like to flock to Central America, seek the services of a smuggler and make a bee line for the U.S. border? What’s now a wave of people at the frontier will become possibly a tsunami.”

2nd, have been reading for about two weeks that Border Agents said they would be overwhelmed in about one month, thus can strike out possibly cause we are two weeks away from the tsunami arriving if the Agents on our Border are correct in the reports circulating. Wonder what this is a run up to? We have large groups of people running to and fro in our neighborhood on border and throughout the middle east. This indicates something but cannot place my mind to what is being indicated. Any thoughts?
Turn themselves in? It’s the dumbass Border Patrol’s job to turn them around and send them home. Forget the “turn themselves” in crap!
Once they get across the river all they have to do is turn themselves in. They’ll be fed, given medical treatment and a place to sleep. Eventually they’ll be shipped to wherever they have relatives. This has been going on for some time. It’s just that now we’re overwhelmed.
Have heard but have not read that commercials are being placed on state TV indicating they should come across and turn themselves in, and they will not be deported. Wonder if those reports are correct? If true ... there is a pipeline of money supporting commercials on state TV in mexico and south America.
Am also hearing reports that the children are being bussed across mexico from south America. Free rides?
Welcome them in, give them food, clothing shelter and a job.
The job is to build the border fence. Build it 2 miles into the US. They will be well paid for the effort. Only thing is, they will build the fence from the other side.
Then cede the two miles by 1200 miles to Mexico.
Sanctuary?! This is beginning to sound like ‘Logans Run’ after ‘globe warming’ mishaps. Sorry, make that ‘climate change’ mishaps.
They need to put up some nets. They will catch more that way.
Should protect the rights of women and children, so that they get care.
Choose the field, and you will find more people wanting that job than there are open positions.
I thought feeding them toxic burritos was a good start.

HOUSTON, Texas—Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) appeared on Fox News’ Fox and Friends show and said Texas lacks the resources and manpower to secure the 1,200 mile Texas border... BS!
Other Texas elected officials, speaking on condition of anonymity have told Breitbart Texas that Texas does, in fact, have the resources to conduct not only a surge operation, but a prolonged border control operation that would secure the Texas border with Mexico.
Now, Perry says he will do something. I'll believe it when I see it.
