Will Eric Cantor's Loss be Scott Brown's Gain?

Scott Brown's campaign manager has fired off a memo "to interested parties" on what Eric Cantor's primary loss in Virginia means for the U.S. Senate race in New Hampshire.

Colin Reed says the Cantor upset by a Tea Party surging candidate "contains worrisome lessons for Senator Jeanne Shaheen."

Here are Reed's five points, verbatim, from his memo:

1. Supporting President Obama's Immigration Policies Is A Liability There is a crisis building on the southern border right now, with large numbers of young people seeking to enter the country illegally, encouraged by the pro-amnesty policies of President Obama and Senator Shaheen. In June 2013, Shaheen voted for the failed Senate amnesty bill, and throughout her career she has repeatedly voted against measures to strengthen border security and fencing. In New Hampshire, polling data shows “widespread opposition” to Shaheen's immigration approach, including a whopping 71 percent of New Hampshire voters who oppose amnesty legislation. The Obama-Shaheen pro-amnesty immigration policies are a non-starter with voters.

Brown has a good record on immigratione except his failed attempt to pander to Irish.

I sure hope it is worth a couple or few points to McDaniel, and I think it will be.

I would think that Cantor’s loss to the Tea Party favorite would be bad for someone like Brown.

Brown was a Tea Party favorite in Mass. When he won he turned his back on them when in the Senate.

I would expect a strong Tea Party turnout to be bad for Brown (and I hope so). Being a NH resident I will not be voting for this gun grabbing back stabber in the primaries.

Oh, the days of Scott and his truck ...

The dim-0-crats fell asleep with Martha over Teddy's seat. That mistake was not repeated with Lizzy of High-Cheekbones.

Scott kinda' like burned his bridges with the TEA-party crowd in MA, so expect NH's "Live Free Or Die" folks to do their own talking and not rely on Cantor's "crash-and-burn".

Scott Brown is good on immigration only. Weak on every other issue.

They had some random Hispanic boy ask him a question during his debate with granny about immigration. He didn’t flinch and said no to the Dream Act. The Hispanic who asked the question was actually legal.

Everything else he screwed up like telling the low information voters Scalia was his guy for SCOTUS.

One idea I took away from the article was to tie every Demorat candidate to Obama. Obama-Shaheen on Obamacare
Obama-Shaheen on immigration, etc. I also thought the line we elect senators to represent us not be robots.

The reason we have Obamacare and a flood of illegal immigrants is in large part due to Senator Shaheen.

No.

Brown is a ridiculous candidate (we could have done SO much better) who stands zero chance at being elected.
