This is a weird article.
It criticizes the leftist Hollywood Elite for airing the urban trash lifestyle, obviously because its entertaining to those who watch these programs, (urban trash) and then blames the liberals for creating the urban trash through the War on Poverty programs?
To criticize this program for portraying the Democrat Urban Plantation population in such a manner that: “For white, Asian or Latinos Americans in the rural heartlands or in suburbia, this may present the image of all black people in the cities as welfare dependent, foul-mouthed, promiscuous and quick to escalate differences to shouting, verging on a physical altercation.” What’s to criticize? Why criticize an accurate representation of the urban lifestyle?
So the answer is to promote shows that portray the urban animal lifestyle in an entirely different light as though they are somehow daily engaged in productive and civilized activities, spending their weekends at the Library, Museums and evenings at the Opera?
Trash sells............to trash and lets face it, at least 40% of this population is living the “Jerry Springer Show” lifestyle.
Hollywood has had this rep since at least the 1930s.
So, it’s The Jerry Springer Show for blacks, hosted by a black woman. Did I miss anything?
