They also blamed the NRA when half of them were stabbed to death
The liberal narrative will be, “sure he was sick, but if it wasn’t for these guns this would not have happened. We must get rid of guns.”
Did you see that Martinez father. Did you see the reporter follow up with but 3 were stabbed and people run over by a car. Enough said
“sure he was sick, but if it wasn’t for these guns this would not have happened. We must get rid of guns.”
That will be what is reported

Thanks!
I’ve seen the practice criticized previously on FR, and knew there was a problem of sorts. I generally thought someone was getting paid for advertising based upon hits to his blog, and using FR to generate additional hits for personal profit.
But the link helps, and I appreciate the clarification!

I generally thought someone was getting paid for advertising based upon hits to his blog, and using FR to generate additional hits for personal profit. That's exactly correct.
It's like someone demanding to be paid for a vanity thread.

He appears to be a repressed homosexual.
Even from just viewing the video, the guy just oozes "creep". Add in the smug, self-entitlement attitude and the apparent Asperger Syndrome and you have "chick repellant"(and he was clearly not Major League material)
Not every evil can be blamed on Homosexuality....

I read an article yesterday that said he probably had been fight homo urges for a long time. It was written by a psychologist.

Because it takes the blame off our excuse of a civilization to figure out why so many young men are totally disassociated from any feeling for others.
Asperger's Syndrome alone cannot explain his violence but add in video game addition, social isolation, sense of entitlement, porno addition(IMO) and, yes, availability of weapons, combined with lack of parental guidance, you get the witches brew by the name of Elliot Rodger.
By any other name, this evil is just as deadly...

When a man knowingly kills others, he is pure evil. He knew what he was doing.
Yeah it was evil but why is the question. I believe people like Rodgers, Adam Lamza, among others are differently wired from the get go and have problems dealing with society(like an alien dropped out of the skies)
Not able to separate reality from fantasy and the simple fact people, in general don't always do things logically, he existed in his own bubble of reality
Add in the influences of porno, violet games, sense of entitlement, etc and one creates an sociopath.
just my opinion.

But then what happens to individual responsibility? He knew what he was doing when he actually did it. He knew that the people he was killing were completely divorced from his fantasy. He was going to commit suicide. Why do these creeps have to take a few innocent people with them? Therein lies the evil! He was a rotten spoiled brat.

...I wonder if the behavior modification stuff is what caused it.
This brings up the old "chicken or the egg" argument. Were they crazy because they were on drugs or on drugs because they were crazy?

In his warped sense of reality, these people "deserved" to die.
Not defending him, just explaining his actions.
From an societal point of view(IMHO), society has the right to put him to death(if he hadn't killed himself) precisely because he did know it went against society's norms.
I know it is contorted reasoning but society has a right to protect it's citizens against such actions.
(IMHO)

From my personal contact with students over the years, I agree with you that all of those external influences can upset the person with Asberger's. I also wonder why they're prescribed meds. Oftentimes, they just want to be left alone, and are often creative and imaginative.
The "team" or "group" often unsettles them. They seem most settled in the big classrooms of old, with quiet private corners with lots of options for individual activities. Some people just want some privacy and peace and quite to recharge their batteries. In the modern classroom, that's considered to be a disorder.

I might have known a couple of high functioning Asperger’s patients when I was in grade school. Very smart in a limited way(could remember anything once read)
Of course that was back in the day before Political Correctness and the Internet...
