Consider doing the same for ammo
If someone is "raiding" for more supplies, if you remove the gunpowder from ammo, the primer,alone , will lodge the lead in the barrel
and result in an exploding gun barrel, when the perp really needs it, perhaps leading to his demise !

I've got a homemade bullet puller that works like a charm. A good piece of oak about an inch thick is all you need. And some tools.
