You gotta hear this - in context, he was advocating for "slow speed" rail in California (the biggest boondoggle I have ever seen in my life). But then he stumbled into what liberals want us all to do, always, so that we can fit into their communist scheme. LISTEN:

“If it’s brown....flush it!” More importantly
the old man gave RWR his start in politics by
losing to him in the campaign for governor.
That was the only good thing either of the Browns
ever did.

Here's something harder to answer: Name one office or position that Moonbeam has held in his lifelong suck at the taxpayers teat that he did not leave worse off than when he entered it?

When moon beam was mayor of Oakland, he put up these giant bill boards containing images and names of those who were caught soliciting prostitutes in Oakland. When I saw one of those bill boards from the freeway, had to laugh out loud. Did that idiot even know what was occurring on the other side of the bay ? Kalifornia is nothing but a bunch of isolated mafiadoms. Each one with a different set of accepted laws.

Actually Jerry Brown has been known as fairly ascetic in his lifestyle. The trick is, he has the juice to be able to do it in comfort, as an option, without having to worry that losing the next paycheck may mean losing his home. Big difference from someone who lives the same way but from paycheck to paycheck.
