I don’t read any of the ‘gun’ magazines. I figured out a long time ago it is near impossible to read an unbiased review of any given gun because of writer/manufacturer/advertiser influence.
Additionally, I am not impressed one iota at how so many manufacturers bandy the word ‘tactical’ around as if it instantly makes a shooter Rambo or something.
Car magazines are the same way. I do not waste time or money on either one.

What is so wrong with reading a biased opinion of something? Do you read anything besides tech manuals?
You’re exactly right. The only decent feature in American Rifleman is ‘The Armed Citizen.” Everything else is a pitch for the NRA and a monthly French kiss to the sundry advertisers who pay the mag’s bills. I understand the reality of the situation, but in terms of objective critiques of firearms, the national gun publications are useless.
