I was sent this article into this article and I agreed that it would be of interest to many of the preppers in the group.

A few are pretty ingenious ideas here that could use.

I read Lewis and Clark’s journal a few years back. I bet Sacajawea could teach us all a huge amount of survival tips.

Why not just use an old-fashioned washboard?

For the same reason you don't beat your clothes on rocks. It causes them to wear out more quickly.

Not easier on the muscles, I wouldn’t think. Do you know how much one needs to keep agitating to get close to good cleaning? Don’t count on it being a quick job.

As for wear and tear, that certainly isn’t a problem for camping.
