I still follow my team, Philadelphia, from ‘a distance’. I don’t watch the games. I have better, more productive, things to do with my time. I do listen to sports-talk on the car radio until that drives me crazy (the local obsession with the release of DeSean Jackson is way over the top). I will watch highlights on ESPN, usually with the sound OFF, while at the gym. And that’s about it. I used to be a fan, but now I’d say I’m a casual observer.
And demands for a lifetime NFL ban for any player that tries to chop block him.
I think you meant to say “American of African Descent.”
If an NFL player or his wife is photographed at a pro-marriage rally, or donates to that cause (or some other cause you dont like), will they be fined as well? Punished? Suspended? Or as an American, do they have a right to those opinions without interference?
Applause, sir.
That is exactly what is happening. I certainly won’t renew Sunday Ticket this year.
Wonder when these guys at the NFL will think having transvestite cheerleaders will be a requirement?
I think as some can observe from my posts, I follow European soccer much more now than football.
Say what you will, and yes soccer has some prima donnas, but you don’t have nearly the amount of thuggery that you see in American sports.
And soccer fans over there certainly would not be fans of the Michael Sam types.
You can only imagine the kind of chants a gay player over there would hear from opposing fans, let’s just say they won’t be very PC.
That would be a Federal Hate crime
Any truth to the rumors that the NFL has hired The Village People to be the halftime performers at the new Super Bowl?
ENOUGH! We don’t need to see that anymore.
There are far too many other things one can enjoy themselves with other than watching Pro sports. Formula One is about the only pro sport I actively watch anymore. Formula one is perhaps many years out before social engineering is forced on the sport.
I quit watching about the time Unitas left football. I cannot imagine watching it after the NFL - which accepts criminal behavior from players with barely a blink of the eye - decided to actively take sides against Christianity and traditional morality and punish anyone who gives offense to homosexuals.
I’m avoiding Drudge today so I can not have to look at this socomistic display, yet you find it necessary to post. WTF?
Yeah...That’s what I said....
Why do I get the feeling Drudge is enjoying this story and the bearded cross-dresser way too much!
Pretty much all sports for me for about that long.
I’ve been increasingly fed up with the NFL too. This coming fall my not see me watching either.
Good! Agenda-driven bread and circuses. I stopped watching after the “wardrobe malfunction” in the Super Bowl halftime pre-meditated, agenda-driven show.
Decision. Not interested in the product, the agenda, the programming, the lifestyle (the alternative lifestyles of the participants) the time of life it consumes.
freedom. decision. not interested.
It's obvious if you know anything about Matt Drudge.
It costs a fortune to attend a game and they prevented Rush Limbaugh from buying a team.
Re: Drudge
Well, it’s obvious Sam likes Sissy White Boyz...
