This is a very disturbing website. A man recently learned that he is not the father of his daughter. He and his wife are shocked because it turns out that the biological father was a man who worked at the IVF clinic.
They found out quite by accident as shown in this video.

The clinic worker is dead and the clinic is gone. The university associated with it is refusing to warn people about the possibility that this nutjob Lippert may have done this many times because "the burdens of this information are likely to outweigh the benefits to families."
Now the couple has a website as an attempt to warn people.

Although some may feel that it is preferable not to know if Mr. Lippert is the biological father of your child, we believe the knowledge of biological heritage is essential to avoid half-siblings who may be living in the same communities potentially engaging in romantic relationships, as well as for family medical history.
Thomas Lippert worked at the fertility clinic from 1986-1997 or 1998, but began donations in 1983. It is possible that his sperm sample was exchanged with other intended fathers' samples and/or was frozen under other names and used after this time.
It is never permitted to do something which is intrinsically illicit, not even in view of a good result: the end does not justify the means.

Based upon the birth and death dates of Thomas Ray Lippert (1950-1997), I am fairly sure that neither my father (1917-1968), nor myself (1946-Current) were fathered by him.
It is paramount to remember that this criminal was NOT A FATHER. In journalism they grasp for the right terms that sound more frightening. These children were FATHERED by the man they love and lived with, their Dad. Genetics doesn’t matter.
And these children are perfect, the way Gd made them. Important to remember that children conceived by criminals are still born pure and innocent.
I’ve met FReepers big in the pro life movement who were conceived by a violent rape on a virgin mom. They are innocent of the crime of this genetic sperm donor. Same here.

Was this sicko the only man to do this? And what about "clinics" that use sperm for single women or women whose husbands have a low sperm count? How many half siblings are out there and don't know who their fathers are? Detestable. Violate natural law created by God and the result is suffering and trouble.

I beg to differ with you. As an adoptee and adoptive parent, rest assured that genes carry dna inherited from biological parents. That dna includes predisposition to all sorts of medical issues. Twins separated at birth and adopted by different families, once reunited, display many common personality traits.
I love my adoptive family as does my daughter but Genetics does matter!
But they have not found one other case.

I have not been following the story. Have they contacted all children conceived during that time frame and had them tested?
What do you base your view on? Scripture would appear to indicate that some children are born under what is essentially a curse, no? Good grief… it’s repeated 4 times! 1. On another part of your comment, scripture does not agree that children are born pure and innocent… Psalms 51:5 - Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

This nut job, and the university who hired him, all by themselves have created the obligation in the future, for all in-vitro clients to verify paternity at birth.
I certainly would. And sue their arrogant tenure into the next century!
