Unintended Consequences of Renewable Energy?
Canada Free Press ^ | 5/4/2014 | Dr. Ileana Johnson Paugh

The D.C. metro was plastered last month with ads by GoWithCanada.ca, promoting the proposed 1,179-mile Keystone XL Pipeline, a 36-inch-diameter crude oil pipeline originating in Hardisty, Alberta, and extending south to Steele City, Nebraska.

Described as “America’s best energy partner,” Canada provides United States refineries every day with 2.4 million barrels of crude oil, more than Saudi Arabia and Venezuela combined. The ads explained that “80% of Canada’s oil sands production capacity is owned by North American companies.”

Nothing is stopping the installation of smart meters that harm human health.

Is this more of the same "cell phones cause cancer" and "vaccines cause autism" woo-woo nonsense?

I’m not sure about the meter/human health(radiation from transmitter?) part but I am sure that once they were installed on my house with no opt out available, the gas/elec company can shut me off with a few key strokes. My health could suffer in that case. That’s about the only fault I saw in the piece. Maybe if I notify them that I’m over 65 I won’t be subjected to rolling brown outs. (Elder abuse :>}?)

Have you heard of a "Faraday cage? I have built one that looks like a trellis for my climbing roses.
