When Chairman Mao was failing and about to lose his government, he initiated the Great Cultural Revolution. The documentary, Morning Sun, describes this as a Revolution on the revolution. I believe we are witnessing the "revolution" in America less than 60 years later. Yesterday's events have struck a disturbing cord within my heart and soul. While the meme is what happened to Sterling was right and just...while I still have the ability to speak freely regarding the matter, I shall raise my voice to question this idea of "social justice," as we witnessed it applied yesterday. What happened to our laws that protect people from mob 'social justice?'
There is little genteel about the public humiliation being foisted upon those seen as rich, elite, etc. They are made public example of and lose their livelihoods, jobs, and as we witnessed yesterday, the ordering of the sale of their business. I hear some conservative voices saying it is "right and just," what happened to this scumbag, but we have discrimination laws and if he broke a law, the resolution is in court. I understand there are discrimination cases in the past and the courts found this way or that way. I understand there's the claim he was a known bigot behind closed doors. Some strongly feel that what happened yesterday was good 'social justice,' because it was retribution for the man's multitude of sins. But it was Voltaire that noted in a free society the integrity of defending a person's free speech is core to maintaining the culture's freedom.
I want you to consider why things like "Piss Christ" are defended as Freedom of Speech. There is lots of talk that our First Amendment Right only applies to government matters. If there are laws regarding discrimination are not these public humiliations more properly dealt with in court, than the unfounded arena of 'social justice?' Are not claims of discrimination a government matter in business?
The point though of this FR editorial is not to focus in of the legality of the events of yesterday, although they do play a role. The object of my concern is the application of 'social justice' by Obama's Red Guards, from the Obama "Beer Summit" at the start of his administration to the events of yesterday is it not amazing to see how swiftly a culture can move from a Nation of Laws to a mobocracy?
Obama may not be directly involved, but he set the example. Every time Obama comments on a discrimination case/matter, he is setting the tone. Every time the Attorney General Holder chooses what laws to apply or not, it sets the tone. In a nation of laws, the recording would be inadmissible in court as evidence for it was obtained illegally. I submit, that this event is exactly why we have the law about recording people without their permission...to protect them from their own stupidity in the heat of the moment. I submit, Obama's fundamental change of the nation will prohibit the matter from ever going to court. For if it goes to court they (Obama's Red Guard) fear the result will be like the Martin case under the color of law and Sterling will not be brought to 'justice.' All they did to Sterling could be found to be illegal under our existing discrimination laws regarding private businesses. The point is arguable, but in the court of 'social justice,' the resolution is more swift and less messy.
Chairman Mao needed no new laws for his cultural revolution he only needed to call for the fundamental change of the nation (sound familiar) and the doing away with the 4 old ways. Make no mistake we're watching the same thing happen here. The public ridicule gets more intense with every challenge to the change. The court of 'social justice,' has become ingrained in the fabric of America and as such makes a man's day in court and jury of his peers impossible.
Every revolution turns violent and that violence comes from the revolutionary. Watch this 8 minute excerpt and consider what we are witnessing now from America's soft revolution. Morning Sun
That all went out the window soon after we got ourselves a black President and Attorney General, and they learned they could flout the law with impunity.
Excellent summation and analysis.
Even staunch Conservatives like Levin have jumped on the denouncing bandwagon and celebrate the punishment of Sterling, for nothing more than his beliefs and the thoughts made public.
The danger now because of this precedent is beyond our ability to comprehend, but suffice it to say that America as we knew her are officially over, and your right to your own thoughts is now lost to the whims of the mob being steered by the Ruling Class.
Half the adult Chinese population didn’t own arms.
That’s why we are not in camps right now.
Similar things happened under Mao's Red Guard in the beginning too. I believe it is a certain kind of psychological blindness going on. We're not seeing it because they are not out in the streets yet destroying things with impugned malice. Occupy Wall Street still couldn't muster up the support to jump start it yet.
SJackson just posted an article about a bill dealing with "hate speech." I just cannot believe what I am seeing and yet even the likes of Levin, just are not grasping what is happening.
He will also take care of the traitors in Tiananmen Square, (The Bundy Ranch).
Starting with Trent Lott this has been the way of the Left. Their side can do anything but the thought police will get you for something you said decades ago, or even a slip of the tongue. They would hound you out of existence if they could.
I have a right to my own opinion, you have a right not to like it. You can boycott me, ignore me, you can even have a bad opinion of me. I still have a right to my opinion. I would be in court ASAP if this was happening to me.
This is the worst kind of bullying.
Without the willpower to use them, having arms is useless.
The few who resist will be easily picked off and made public examples of, and the climate of fear that such red revolutions install will be realized right here.
It is like riots, people get into a mindset like robots. They also want approval by the masses and they don’t want to end up like Sterling, sacrificed to the god of PC. It is almost like if they don’t condemn him they approve of what he said and not his right to say it.
This "scandal" has allowed the mayor of Sacramento to get some time in the media spotlight--the man who was being investigated until Obama stepped in and fired the investigator. No media outcry like when Nixon got rid of Archibald Cox.
Mark of the Beast.
If you do not think and act according to what the Beast demands - you cannot make a living, buy or sell.
We’re watching the imposition of the Mark right in front of our faces - as history teaches is often the hallmark of totalitarian and genocidal regimes with a mob mentality for a population.
Read something this a.m. that may sum up what is coming. I have to give credit to pookie18 for the publishing of the toon that read in this manner. Is an obvious question for liberals. The toon asks this question ... So you’re okay with government have the weaponry to annihilate all life on earth .... But you’re upset I have rifle that holds 30 rounds? Slippery slope down the razor to the pool of alcohol. The screaming begins once one sits down upon the razor’s edge. We’re there.
There is a report, out in internet land, of with-holder and obozo considering a round of Conservatives. Don't know if the validity of the report is founded in actually proof but this Conservative can believe that report. Of course, all the media would fall in line and call such all in the name of liberty.
apologies ... round up of Conservatives.
I heard last night that there are call this isn’t enough. They do not want him to profit from the sale either.
I dont think the community can take much longer, Hampton said. We actually dont want him to profit not another dollar from these hard-working men and women in that organization.
Hampton sees Sterlings profiteering off of black labor while expressing racist sentiments as a symptom of ties between wealth and white supremacy.

Thank You for having indulged me with your patience.
Not just conservatives, but climate change deniers, tea party, anyone who disagrees with them.
Did you watch the video at the end of my post, this is coming here...much sooner than anyone realizes. WE still have over 2 years to go of Obama and I do not think we are going to make it that far.
The script he is following is nearly directly from Mao, minus so far the overt violence. Those in charge are old enough to have witnessed the revolution in China and noted what worked...and what didn’t. The template was tweaked and now it is being applied right here.
