2017? US to Deploy Destroyers in Japan to check N Korean Aggression

The response comes in wake of Pyongyang's repeated provocations, including recently test-firing two ballistic missiles, as US President Barack Obama hosted a landmark Japan-South Korea summit. The move is meant to send a strong signal, not only to Kim Jong-Un, but Russian leader Vladamir Putin as well.

Hagel, in Japan to meet with Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera, also remarked at an increasing lack of respect for the US and its western allies, "I think we're seeing some clear evidence of a lack of respect and intimidation and coercion in Europe today with what the Russians have done with Ukraine. Obama has made the USA so weak especially financially, to make it a burden to protect a well to do country like Japan.

We can only help with weapons.

Translation: “Our friends in North Korea, this is your brother Barack. You have until 2017 to work your Marxist will upon the neighbors in your region before U.S. top-line warships arrive. Act accordingly.”
