On Monday, Governor Heineman released his newest column warning Nebraskan's of current efforts in Nebraska's Legislature to silence the voice of Nebraskans on future Presidential races.
The Bill, LB1058 (sponsored by Republican State Senator Tyson Larson who made it his priority bill is also now cosponsored by liberal Democrat Sen. Ken Haar ). I’ve typed 4 different responses to this, and deleted all 4 of them. They were all wordy versions of the following:
Some people should be removed from the gene pool.
This is because, as a consequence of parents not making sure that their children are being taught about the federal government's constitutionally limited powers, corrupt Congress is getting away with usurping 10th Amendment protected state powers and essentially stealing state revenues associated with those powers in the form of constitutionally indefensible federal taxes.
In fact, Justice John Marshall had officially clarified that Congress is prohibited from laying taxes in the name of state power issues, essentially any issue which Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
So what corrupt federal politicians are actually doing is following the tsunami of illegal federal taxes to DC imo.
Mea Culpa!

I really thought the people of Nebraska had the common sense to see through a maneuver to circumvent to US Constitution... this truly is on par with the shameful adoption of 17A.
