“What these people need to realize is that Im serious, Malloy declared.”
The British said the same thing just before they found the colonists were serious, too.
Please note the source : “Semi-news/Semi-satire”.
Here is a source for some of what he actually said:

You are excused.
John does such an excellent job that most of us have been “had” at one time or another.
The problem is, his articles are all too believable...
Satire is just the news we expect.
Popcorn time.
makes me kinda wonder what I would “need” to do in CT if I had to live there.
True that...I am sure the Gov is thinking all of that, just too politically savvy to say it out loud.
As he checks to make sure his bullet proof vest is on.
Very nicely done, John.
“Possession of an unregistered firearm is now a felony in this State, the Governor continued. Felons cannot expect leniency. If we have to make some examples, kick down a few doors, apply deadly forcewe will do so. We have the firepower to out-gun any individual who would dare to defy us. Any blood will be on the hands of those who refuse to obey.
“Awwww, that’s crazy....thaaat would never happen heeeere.
Well...what do you have to say for yourselves NOW?
Kick down a few doors, lose a few JBTs...
Almost got me again. Sounded like the shooting would start soon, until I read the by-line.
Well Governor Mallory, it looks like after 200 plus years, it looks like a Militia will come to the rescue of CT once again. As you stated, the violent crime rate is at it’s lowest in 40 years....leads me to believe that your law has no merit or need. So expect that the citizens of your state can expect reinforcements to support their fight against tyranny.
