I’m not terribly surprised.

Not a dime from me for organizations like that.

This group’s fund raising is a scam too….if you knew what their contract was with so called “Christian artists” to pimp them at concerts….it’s sickening!!!

Sorry folks, the title contains an oxymoron.

Christians are repentant of their sin.
The bible is clear on this issue, it’s a sin.
And you aren’t “Christian” if you’re “proud” of your sin instead of repentant.

"World Vision said Monday it will hire Christians who are in homosexual marriages,"

This is no such thing as Christians who are in homosexual marriages.

In short: World Vision hopes to dodge the division currently “tearing churches apart” over homosexual relationships by solidifying its long-held philosophy as a parachurch organization: to defer to churches on theological issues

So why even claim to be Para-church? Why not just join the Red Cross?

Not another dime.

This is a tough issue, as there are real world children on the receiving end of World Vision’s ministries.

I removed my (unhappy) son from Boy Scouts.

I won’t stop sending a few bucks to a boy in Senegal via World Vision.

Question: Your thoughts on Compassion International? On Samaritan’s Purse?

“...It doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to figure out that Stearns may be next.

World Vision and its leaders apparently have decided they and their principles can be bought for a price. Their “30 pieces of silver” are worth somewhere between $180 million and $333 million.”

Reason could be this.

Note to self: World vision is off the list of potential donations.

“World Vision” could not be a more suitable name. Its position is duly noted. Would that they do what they do and not use Our Lord’s Name in vain in the process. It may have been a Christian charity at some point, but no longer.

I just called and stopped our contributions, making sure that they know that we do not agree with their interpretation of Scripture. I also asked that our reason for quitting was passed up the chain of command. I was assured that it would be.

Perhaps their new employees will make up for people like us who leave because they no longer believe as we do.

I’m not surprised, nor am I concerned. There are plenty of charities I admire, so I have no trouble donating where my money will do God’s work.

“GAY CHRISTIAN”???

the term is a oxymoron

Just this minute ended 25 years of sponsorship to world vision, on top of that I put permanent stop payment on my bank account in case they try to take 1st of the month payment out

I spoke in a live chat with a employee, they tried to suggest they had no choice, I went to world Vision facebook page as well, they said basically same to others I read

I cancelled via on line account, I suspect they will ask me to send a handwritten letter via snail mail to cancel? At any rate the permanent stop payment will take care of this

Why now?? Was it to show they disapprove with Hobby Lobby?

Franklin Graham is the Christian man I admire most, he said there are other alternatives to World Vision

I am going to today give same monthly amount to Samaritans purse
