Will Connecticut choose to ignore or make war against 300,000 gun registration scofflaws?
Coach is Right ^ | 3/23/14 | Doug Book

To date, a reported 50,016 people have guaranteed the eventual confiscation of their firearms by obeying the “Assault Weapons” registration requirements of Connecticut’s new gun law.

But according to a 2011 study commissioned by the Connecticut Office of Legislative Research it is estimated that more than 300,000 additional weapons have NOT been registered, their owners refusing to relinquish either their semi-auto rifles OR their liberty to Connecticut lawgivers. (Given recent record sales years that 300,000 could today be 400,000 or more.)

So in spite of the threats of Connecticut’s left-wing politicos to imprison those with the courage to defy unconstitutional legislation, the overwhelming majority of gun owners in the Constitution State have effectively told their elected officials to shove it.

And it’s this wholesale repudiation of unjust legislation that spells disaster for lawmakers in Connecticut as it will...

They should try to quietly repeal it. That is the best way to save face.

The house can burn down without hurting their family.

I would venture to say that they were the targeting of the city proper, not the women and children.

Wrong ,the women and children laborwere a part of the manufacturing process, as some of the small parts of the weapons were filed and polished in the homes . As both cities were manufacturing centers.

Yep or paint balls.

Lets face it all the MRAPs and the body armor etc is for intimidation of the general public more than effectiveness.

Again, that would be targeting the center of manufacture not, strictly speaking, the women and children.

But the left are incapable of retreating on such an important agenda item as gun confiscation. After all, it’s not as though THEY will be looking down a barrel one day.

And therein lies the problem.

We leveled entire cities in WWII. Do you disapprove?

There was no alternative, and sometimes you have to do things you don't approve of. In WWII we did not have the option to take out individuals to bring their machine to a halt. The entire cities were leveled in retaliation for the Nazi and Jap atrocities (V-2 bombing of London, rape of Nanking, Bataan Death March). Hiroshima and Nagasaki probably saved ten times the lives they took by precluding the need for an invasion.

In our case just a number of key individuals removed from each of the oppressive agencies would give pause to the rest, as the underlings would know that they are next.

Right, because their families are not supporting them in anyway shape or form, huh? Get a clue.

In that case, their murder of our families is expected and OK because, after all, we are part of the resistance and our families support us. Nope, can't buy it.

So your way of thinking we “USA”, were wrong in bombing Nagasaki and Hiroshima , Japan to end WW II.

No, as stated before, those bombings probably save many times the lives they took, on both sides.

Attack our families and see whose family is attacked.

Two wrongs do not make a right, ever. Harming the innocent intentionally is not an option. Regrettably, there is sometimes collateral damage, but we must avoid it when possible or we'll be just as evil as the oppressors.

I think you're wrong. They have no compunction whatsoever against storming your house at 3am and killing everyone inside who even looks like they might have something in their hands. I'm way past the point of condemning people for retribution.

They are probably Waffen SS, not Gestapo.. There is an outside possibility that they are Einsatzgruppen or Special Action Groups, those units that were assigned to the SS’s Sicherheindsdienst (SD) whose task it was to round up Jews and other undesireables and exterminate them enmasse by gunfire in the hundreds of thousands before the Nazis hit upon the more efficient gas chambers... Could this be an insight into the thinking of CT pols and bureaucrats thoughts for rebellious gunowners?

Yes. Intimidation/terror will always be used as effectively as possible in maintaining tyranny.

Todays Progressives would jump right in and help them load us on the cattle cars if they could get away with it.

“The entire cities were leveled in retaliation...”

You said killing families is not acceptable, but now you state it is if for “retaliation”. That is EXACTLY what I was referring to earlier when I said come to our house and attack our families and we’ll be at yours. Exactly. Retaliation works.
