A band of Dartmouth College students has sent an extortion letter to the school’s administration. The group, self-described as “concerned Asian, Black, Latino, Native, Undocumented, Queer, and Differently-Abled students,” wants Dartmouth to yield to its demands under threat of “physical action.”
The un-named collection of radicals demand a number of steps be taken by Dartmouth to “eradicate systems of oppression as they affect marginalized communities on this campus.”
Taken verbatim, their list of demands are as follows:
• Racial enrollment quotas for Black and Latino students to “at least 10 percent each”
• “Ensure that 47 percent of post-doctoral students are people of color”
• “Ban the use of ‘illegal aliens,'...

From the list of their demands, it sounds like these “radicals” would be a lot happier in the workers’ paradises of Cuba or North Korea.
Same as they did in the 60’s and 70’s.
Nothing has changed.
This will require years of study in order to make sure all concerns are met.
Can’t take this lightly.

When the system collapses some of these Parasites are going to be in for a very rude awakening after being pandered by all these meek and spineless public officials.
Cuse when littley whiney bitch and his/her pals show up in flyover country demanding they have a right to X amount of what others have they are gonna get some negative feedback.
Most likely consisting of lead, copper and Steel.

Whomever... I don’t care WHO they are. That they self-identify with the fringes is irrelevant in the long run (but not surprising).
If they decide to riot, burn, act like frigging savages because they don’t get their way, they should be treated appropriately by the Citizens and local LEOs.
Ship them off to Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s jail in Arizona to learn how to behave in civil society.
If they threaten lives or cause deaths because of their actions, they need to be removed from society.
It would be interesting to see what the “queer studies” courses in the Math, Physics, and Engineering departments would be like.

Exactly, I am sure there are many community colleges that these youths would do quite fine at. If I was the Chancellor of an Ivy League College, I would say “See ya”.

Sometimes I think these institutions put these thugs up to this sort of thing to give them an excuse to turn to the dark side.

You’re probably right, and it sucks that ANYONE would even remotely consider giving in.
The faculty is probably riddled with brainwashed, white-guilted liberal cowards who’s sole purpose in life is to kiss the asses of whatever aggrieved protected victim group whines the loudest at any given moment.
But to threaten violent action - if I remember correctly, that USED to be called a “Terroristic Threat” - and roll-over compliance or not, Law Enforcement should be immediately investigating it.
If a group can’t sit down and explain WHY they think they need their requests - not “demands” - met, and they have to threaten folks, then the validity of their grievance is null and void.
Convince me why I should acquiesce with rational logic and reasoned debate, and I’ll consider all sides and make a rational decision on it. Threaten me with physical violence, and “Well, boys, looks like War’s just been Declared.”
