Caracas held on of its biggest rallies ever. The pictures of the Francisco de Miranda avenue packed cannot lie. And cannot be ignored. See previous post.
There were also many marches/rallies around the country, some very well attended (Merida to name one), some in more obscure places but where there had never been anything in the past, so even 50 folks is a huge deal there.

Watched the coverage on GloboTV, and even the slanted coverage, the obvious attempts to equivocate the scope of the Opposition rally with Maduro's counter "Rally for Peace and Life," using camera angles, etc. the occasional long view down the avenue hinted at the enormous scale of the turnout against the regime. Easily a half-million at Caracas, today, with troops, including Cuban reserves, lurking nearby.

They should have marched to the government buildings and thrown the bums out. There would be nothing the government could really do with that many marching into their palaces.

Thanks very much. It’s good to read a citizen journalist’s point of view. I’ve read this blog before but it’s been awhile.
