Jerrold Nadler, Democrat Congressman from New York City, is not terribly interested in nuance. In fact, its fairly obvious that he is adamantly against it.
Talking to a reporter yesterday, Nadler whined that the actions of Republicans was immoral, especially in this recession where people cant find jobs.
He went on his cartoonish tirade, saying, If the Republicans wanted to say, Lets put in this extra protection, that extra protection,' that would be something else.
But theyre just using that as an excuse. They just want people to starve. And its disgusting.

Yeah, that’s EXACTLY why they want to cut dependency programs.
Dummass.
Someone needs to mock and scorn this person to no end.
Jerry, you are going to make Speeker Boner cry.
How could you?
Wouldn’t hurt Jerry Nadler to starve a little.
We would like to see your gluttonous arse starve a bit fatty the wadler.
Well fom the looks of Jerrold maybe he is eating a lot of the food that should go to those who need food stamps.
Not much chance of him starving, at least for a couple of months seeing how well padded he is.
Glad to see “No-Neck” Nadler being sooooo concerned about calories.
“No-Neck” appeared to be pushing the 300 pounds range the last time I saw him on TV.
“Not much chance of him starving, at least for a couple of months seeing how well padded he is.”
He had the stomach stapling surgery to control his weight. Apparently he was unable to exercise self discipline by controlling his intake.
The constant nasty comments from Democrats have poisoned political discourse in this country. Perhaps the Republicans should start commenting about the Democrat “war on civility”.
See Boehner, you increase the debt limit and they STILL accuse you of starving children.
Is it too much for Mr. Nadler to grasp, that it is not a Federal responsibility to feed anyone other than those in the Armed Services: That feeding & educating, clothing & housing, are all immediate, local concerns, always better handled on a local basis, even if the Constitution did not require that they be handled on a local basis.
The first mistake the Republicans in Congress make is letting themselves ever be put on the defensive on these issues.

Yes, I do want ALL progressives, communists, liberals, and one worlders to curl up and DIE. Whether its by starvation or they self euthanize is not a major consideration for me as long as its painful.
Yes I do!
These bastards have killed millions and America is in their sights.
In one breath they are ALL touting how much better the economy is and in the next breath how hard it has been for the folks to find jobs! What the
hell WHY aren’t the pubbies SCREAMING this crap from the rooftops!!!
Jerry the Nadler. Last time I saw him he was floating down the avenue in the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade. Hey Jerry! The only reason you support “a woman’s right to choose” is so children will die. Stuff it fatso!
In a robust economy, people do not HAVE to starve, it becomes entirely voluntary on the part of the one who is starving.
Which might not be a bad thing for that portion of the population that is mildly to morbidly obese.
Gainfully employed people working up to their potential should not, ever, have to have their cash flow augmented with any subsidies for food, housing, or health care.
The economy that used to exist in that territory once known as “the United States of America” was of much more than capable of distributing all the goods, services and largesse of all kinds to each and every one of its residents. But that economy has been crippled with artificial and patently dishonest scarcities and restrictions that do absolutely nothing to provide for the domestic tranquility, life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness (which is codeword for “property ownership”).
Hey idiot, food is expensive for all of us working folks. That doesn’t mean we expect others to subsidize for us. Good grief. Food prices were never as high as they are now. When Bush was in office ground beef was $1.39 a pound. How come no one calls obama out on the cost of food?
And Dems want Obamacare so they can watch people die
Jerry needs to go on that “My 600 pound life” on TLC
They cut 1%. A whopping, child-starving, family-decimating 1% from food stamps. If they shaved 1% from every person getting food stamps, that’s an average of $1.50 a month per person out of $150. So, they’re dropping from $150 to $148.50. I still maintain that if you can’t SUPPLEMENT your food budget on $148.50 per person per month, it doesn’t represent monetary poverty, it represents poverty of the will, self-respect, and intellect.
