Did the recent recession make people feel physically ill? A study of Google queries suggests it did.
Researchers counted queries for health terms abdominal pain, headaches, shoulder pain, migraine and hundreds of others. Then they tracked how the numbers of searches for those terms changed during the recession December 2008 through December 2011 from levels before the recession began. The study was published in the February issue of The American Journal of Preventive Medicine.

I’m doing more queries regarding shoulder pain but it has more to do with more free time to surf than it does the poor economy.
The study doesn’t really determine the cause. Seeing a venal fool of a president andr Senate Leader looting the government and listening to the media say what a wonderful thing that was caused a lot of misery and physical pains.
Revenge through better living.

One of the corny but correct truisms they teach in Dale Carnegie courses is that the single biggest cause of death is “worry”. It’s hard to think of anything that can cause an otherwise healthy person to worry more than the loss of his or her job in a bad economy.
The recent recssion? You mean like anybody thinks its gone?
