There are no limits on the level of their intelligence and their ability to verbally pierce every trap, on their feet, any time, any place, with anyone. It is just phenomenal, considering the low bar, today, for discourse by many conservatives. Excellence has been painfully hard to come by.

Gowdy is an excellent interrogator, he just needs to be allowed by Issa to go for the jugular.

Gowdy has stated he would support immigration reform with guarantees of border enforcement, but we know how that has worked in the past. He also voted with Boehner on several budget items. Still Mr. Gowdy is a damn sight better than 99% of the rest of the Congress.
